Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) was incorporated on 11th February, 2010. EESL was jointly promoted by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, NTPC, REC and PFC with equal equity participation for implementation of Energy Efficiency projects in India and abroad. EESL would be one of the main implementation arms of the National Mission on Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE) as a part of "National Action Plan on Climate Change".
